Special Education Teacher

Provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance Texas Education Agency guidelines. Develops and implements Individualized Education Programs, monitors student progress, and collaborates with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.

 

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Valid Texas Special Education EC-12 certification

• Knowledge of ARD/IEP procedures

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals

• Participate in ARD meetings

• Maintain required documentation and compliance
